Elevate your teaching...
join us June 8th-10th at Gayles Retreat, East Sussex
A weekend retreat for the development and nourishment of teachers
Our fourth Liberate & Elevate retreat – a weekend full of personal practice, practical workshops, mentoring and above all sustenance. We are so excited to finally confirm our third teacher for June 2018 - the extraordinary Nikki Slade! Nikki will be joining myself and Ana Muriel to offer a workshop on voicework for yoga teachers and then a wonderful evening kirtan.
We want you to come and fill up. The idea is not to pass on any one way of teaching or impose a dogma but simply to create a potent space for teachers to come together, to acknowledge each other within a loving environment. These weekend retreats always sell out fast and we love holding them. We try to make them affordable, we fill them to the brim with information so that you can develop your craft and we try to ensure that what we are offering is available for all who would like to attend. We only ever invite the very best teachers to facilitate and we look after them also!
We really like to keep the schedule fluid and responsive to group energy so we invite everyone, including our facilitators, to arrive and stay for the whole weekend. Over the course of the weekend (midday Friday through to Sunday afternoon) we will offer you 3 workshops and 3 practices. Here's an example of the kind of thing you can expect:
- 1.00-2.00pm Welcome circle

About the venue
Gayles is a small retreat centre ideally situated in outstanding countryside on the South Downs, five miles from Eastbourne and fifteen from Brighton. Here rural doesn’t mean hard to reach; there are excellent train services from the nearby towns that provide direct travel to and from London Victoria, Gatwick, Ashford International, Brighton and so on.
Gayles is just one-and-a-half hours drive from London and there is a regular bus service that conveniently stops beside the entrance.
The environment and ambience at Gayles encourages an open, safe, relaxed and intimate atmosphere that promotes learning and self-development.
In order to keep the cost of the weekend down and to support the overarching theme of community we have chosen a venue with dorm facilities. These are really lovely, thoughtfully renovated dormitories – ‘The Studio’ which sleeps eleven people with two showers and two toilets and ‘The Playroom’, which sleeps six and has one shower and one toilet. Together, both dormitories offer simple, high quality, comfortable and reasonably spacious single-gender accommodation. There are good quality, sturdy single and bunk beds with individual storage drawers. Duvets, pillows, linen and towels are provided. Basic hot drink making facilities are also available in the dormitories.
Please note that the venue supplies bedlinen and towels; students make their own beds on arrival and strip their own beds at the end of the retreat.
Friday – Sunday 8th-10th June 2018
The full price for the whole weekend based on simple but thoughtfully designed dormitory sharing is £450 per person. This includes EVERYTHING – meals, accommodation, the workshops and yoga. This is a one off flat cost and is totally offered on a first come, first served basis.
We have space for 17 wonderful yogis who would like to stay onsite with us and 3 non-residential yogis.
For more information or to book your spot please contact Naomi directly.
To hold your spot a non-refundable deposit of £150 is requested to be transferred to the following account (please state your name as reference):

Please note that the balance is required no later than 6 weeks prior to the start of the weekend, therefore on or before FRIDAY 27TH APRIL.
I really, really hope that you will join us for this special gathering.
With so much love and encouragement
